There are
many facets of music production. They include songwriting and arranging,
selecting material, booking musicians, recording, editing and audio
mixing. The projects that we choose to work on are often done in collaboration
with other artists, musicians and songwriters. The steps that are needed
to bring a musical concept to full completion are much more complicated
than most people realize. It requires many people, working numerous
hours on a variety of tasks to bring to light the final representation
of the artist's and/or producer's initial vision. |

Before a consumer ever has a chance to listen to a recording, they will look at the packaging! The quality of the artwork will immediately effect people's first impression as to the professionalism of a project and often will determine whether or not they decide to purchase it. Our designs focus on several variables which include: creativity, initial impact, shelf appeal, color schemes, font sizing and project relevance. Simply put, if the graphics look cheap then people will think the entire project was done poorly. In addition to standard CD layouts, we also design web sites (including this one), DVD packaging, CD slim line and pocket inserts, cassette J-cards, Digipacks, VHS boxes, promotional posters, direct mailers, brochures, business cards and logos. What is mastering?
For those of you who are unfamiliar with this process, it can easily
be defined as the "finishing touches" to a good recording.
The mix down master is cleaned at the beginning and end of all the tracks,
unwanted surface noise is removed, the audio level is brought up to
an acceptable red book standard threshold, individual song equalizations
are matched and the entire project's sound is designed to represent
itself well on almost all playback systems. A PMCD (Pre-mastered CD)
is created from which a glass master is made and the project can be
replicated to an infinite number of units. This can be a critical step
in audio production and is quite often overlooked. We have a variety
of analog equipment and computer software to complete this process.

We offer full
replication services for both CD and DVD projects. Replicated disks
are made of stamped aluminum and are guaranteed for life, whereas duplicated
disks (also known as CDRs or DVD+/-Rs) are made from organic material
which will degrade over time. We work with several subcontractors who
manufacture the disks, printed material, cases and ultimately assemble
